PROGRAM

Our Reunion program includes alumni-centered and wilderness oriented activities. Our goal is to offer a wide range of activities to stimulate, delight and challenge each visitor; and to provide an opportunity for our alumni to play and nurture lifelong friendships and outdoor interests in a Christian environment. Our 60th Anniversary Reunion program is an extension of our mission and we look forward to welcoming camp people from across the generations to celebrate in the mountains with us!

There will be many of our regular camp activities offered including some special events (happy hours, live music, and plenty of chances to relax and catch up with old friends!) and trips to our favorite locations around camp!

LOCATION

The 60th Anniversary Reunion takes place at Kahdalea in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. Our 180 acres are bordered on three sides by the Pisgah National Forest, which provides unlimited acres of beautiful mountain woodlands. Kahdalea has its own lake, clear bubbling streams, and hiking trails. At an elevation of 2800 feet, the summer climate is lovely!

TRANSPORTATION

The camps do not responsibility for making travel arrangements to or from camp. Most folks arrive by car. If you are flying, make arrangements to land at the Asheville, NC airport. Maps and driving directions may be found here.

ENROLLMENT

We encourage you to register early. A Reunion Application may be downloaded from the link at the top of this page. Space is limited so take care to enroll soon!

TODDLER CARE

In light of the purpose of this reunion, our staff for this reunion is minimal. Because of this, we do not offer baby sitting.

MEDICAL INFORMATION

Basic first aid supplies are available at anytime throughout the Reunion weekend. In addition, we have an on-call physician nearby and the Transylvania Regional Hospital is a short drive from camp.

CAMP STORE

Stationary, toilet articles, basic camping gear, batteries and camp shirts are available at the Camp Store. Some craft supplies (i.e. tie-dye T-shirts) will also be charged to the store account.

EVERYTHING, including equipment, should be plainly marked with names.

Please don’t hesitate to call 828-884-6834 or e-mail us at office@kahdalea.com.
