Hello camp families! It’s a glorious day in the Blue Ridge Mountains. To honor yesterday’s celebration Flag Day, we opened the day with some patriotic songs and shared some stories about what a gift it is to live in our country. After songs and morning inspiration, we launched into activities and trips!

Today, our campers are enjoying adventures in all corners of Western NC! They are climbing at Rock Chickamunga, paddling the Tuckaseegee river, hiking on the famed Art Loeb Trail, and biking in Dupont State Forest – not a bad day at all 🙂

Campers who have chosen to remain in camp today are enjoying firing their clay creations in arts and crafts, playing world cup soccer games, archery competitions, gymnastics classes, nurturing our two new baby goats on the property, among other wonderful things!

The weather is cool and breezy in the shade and warm in the sun. It was sweater-weather at breakfast 🙂
