
Everything You Need to Know About the Camp Store Account
Packing for camp can be overwhelming, but we want to make the camp store experience as easy and fun as possible! Here’s a quick guide to how the Camp store account works:
Recommended Store Funds
We recommend having about $45 per week in your child’s store account. This amount ensures they can grab any essential gear they might need to purchase or replenish, along with fun camp merchandise.

What Does the Store Stock?
The store is stocked with a variety of items. This list is not comprehensive, but here are some examples of staples in our CKC Store:
- The Basics: Toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, combs, sanitary supplies, shampoo, pens, stamps, postcards, and stationary.
- Camping Essentials: Ground cloths and ground pads, rock climbing harnesses, sleeping bags, headlights, batteries, and cups.
- Camp Merch: T-shirts, sweatshirts, tank tops, and stickers!
Running Low on Funds?
If your child happens to run out of money during the session, the office will send you, the parent, an email alert. If you’d like to add more funds, you can add funds easily through your Camp-In-Touch account, accessible on our website’s main page.
End-of-Session Balances: Your Options
We understand that predicting your child’s spending can be tricky! If there is a remaining balance at the end of your child’s camp session, here is how we handle it:
- Tuition Balance: First, any remaining balance will be applied to cover any outstanding tuition fees.
- Your Discretion: After any tuition balance is settled, the office will notify you of remaining funds and ask for your preference on what to do with the money:
- Donate the money to need-based campers.
- Receive a refund check.
- Apply the funds to a future session.
(Please note: We disregard balances of $10 or less.)
Lost & Found Shipping
We certainly hope every camper returns home with everything they brought! However, if your child’s belongings are found after the session ends and need to be shipped, the shipping cost will be deducted from their camp store balance.
