“I have told you this that you may have peace. In the world you will find trouble. But be Cheerful! I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33 (2026 Theme)

It has been the privilege of our family for nearly 40 years to accompany young hearts towards God through adventure, friendship, and fun! The Core Values of Camps Kahdalea and Chosatonga are Welcome Adventure, Be the One, We are a Family, Choose the Hard Right, and Encounter Faith. It is our conviction that kids need this formation more than ever! Thank you for the ways you’ve supported the mission of CKC!
As we give thanks to God for another safe and wonderful summer in our mountains, we share the joy of this photo gallery with our friends and camp families. We pray for all of our camp families and our extended community every week in our staff meetings and morning watches – please pray for us as well!
Until next summer – Have Fun!
Adam, John, and Jeffrey Trufant

“Being a Chos Man or Kahdalady provides you with tools for life that can’t be taught in a classroom. You learn to live in community, grow in your faith, and push your boundaries and limits. You become someone who is kind, unapologetically faithful, and chooses the hard right against the easy wrong.”
— Main Session parent

“I don’t think he actually told his father and me goodbye, which pleased us because it meant he was back at his summer home.”
