CKC Adventure Retreat ’25
CKC is heading “towards the heights” in 2025! Join us in the Alps this December.

WHO: Previous and present CKC staff get first preference, but outside guests are welcome to apply! Spots are limited. Reserve soon.
WHAT: Hang with friends old and new in an epic and wild place for an informal mountain retreat. we’ll stay in comfortable lodging with daily excursions into the heights. Expect adventuring, time for prayer and reflection, and some encouraging and formative talks.
WHEN: December 13-20, 2025
WHERE: The French and Swiss Alps (Martigny – Grand St. Bernard – Chamonix – Annecy)
WHY: Because it’s super fun, and that’s our motto.
This special staff retreat will be lead by Director Adam Trufant with strong organizational support provided by Christopher Baker of Altum L’Alto Pilgrimages. Chris is also a Chosatonga alum with an excellent adventure pilgrimage ministry based in Italy – we are blessed and excited to have him along!
We are also delighted to welcome Fr. Gregory Pine, O.P. on board! Throughout the retreat, Fr. Pine will lead reflections on St. Francis de Sales’ timeless work, The Introduction to the Devout Life. This book is an accessible starting point for learning the basics of Christian life and growth in virtue. The Introduction will serve as our template for the staff retreat. Mass will be offered daily on the retreat for those who wish to attend.
Applications will be reviewed after September 1st. A packing list and trip logistics will be shared when applications are reviewed and participants confirmed. The cost is $1700.
Flights recommended in/out of Geneva. Fly in on Dec. 13 in the morning or early afternoon, and fly out from Geneva anytime beginning on Dec. 20 in the morning.  Participants are responsible for getting to and from the event.

What is a CKC Staff and Alumni Retreat?
Each year, we host a retreat for the CKC Family to build community, refresh ourselves in prayer and camp friendships, and generally have a fun time in some epic location. We’ve hosted retreats in the Joshua Tree heights of southern California, the islands of the Gulf of Mexico, or in our very own Blue Ridge Mountains. Rest assured it will be fun, restful, outdoors, and full of the unique CKC flare that only comes from the fountainhead of this wonderful camp family.

In case you’re in need of some soul refreshment, some epic wilderness, some good laughs, and some spiritual wind in your sails, we wish to invite you out for an adventure retreat!
